Last Sunday, the check engine light came on and the car started running a bit funky. I made it home. On Monday, I took the bus to the Metro station. I came home and started the car to see if the light was still on - it was, of course. Tuesday and Wednesday I caught the bus as well. On Thursday, I decided to take the car in for repairs before work. I started the car - it started but would cut off right after. I went to the bus stop but it seemed that I had already missed the bus so I called a cab to take me to the Metro station. On Friday, I came out a few minutes before 9 to catch the bus, I stood at the bus stop until 9:15 and the bus hadn’t come. “I’ve missed the bus again”, I thought as the bus is supposed to come around 9ish. I take a video and a few photos of birds on the snowy bushes and head back home. Then I hear the bus. I try to hurry back to the bus stop, waving my arms to get the drivers attention. It didn’t work although some of the passengers must have thought I was crazy - another cab to the Metro.
